How to fill in your score card

To Assist the Competition & Handicap Committee

We would ask ALL competitors to complete their cards as illustrated with :-
Competition Name, Date & Time played, Markers Name & Tees played from
.
So that in the event of a dispute we can check back on other cards.

When entering scores on the computer check that they match the score card,
if there is an error please correct before accepting the score.

Remember the computer is rarely wrong

Players Responsibilities - Rule 6 (R&A Rules of Golf)

All Horne Park members should read Rule 6 and be aware of their responsibilities.
It is important that players check their card before it is returned after a Competition,
to ensure the score entered on each hole are correct and the card is properly signed.

If the player or his marker fail to sign the card - the player will be disqualified
If a players handicap is not shown - they will be disqualified
If the players handicap is shown too low - that is their handicap for the competition.
If a players handicap is shown too high - they will be disqualified
If a player signs for a lower score on a hole - they will be disqualified
If a player signs for a higher score on a hole - that is the score for that hole
